UFC President Dana White has officially announced the bout for the promotion's vacant light heavyweight title between Alex Pereira and Jiří Procházka, which will take place on November 12 in the co-main event of UFC 295.
Pereira last fought against Poland's Jan Błachowicz this past July at UFC 291. In that confrontation, Alex won by split decision of the judges. It was the Brazilian's debut in the light heavyweight division. He has eight wins and two losses on his record.
Procházka last entered the octagon against Glover Teixeira in June 2022 at UFC 275. Jiří won that fight with a choking submission in the fifth round. He has 29 wins, three losses and one draw.
