Raquel Pennington and Mayra Bueno Silva will fight for the vacant women's bantamweight title at UFC 297 on January 20 in Toronto, Canada.
Pennington last fought against Ketlen Vieira this past January at UFC Fight Night 217. In that bout, Raquel won by split decision. She has 15 wins and eight losses on her record.
Bueno Silva last stepped into the octagon against Holly Holm in July of this year at UFC on ESPN 49. Mayra initially won that fight, but the result of the bout was later canceled due to a positive doping test by the Brazilian. She has 10 wins, two losses and one draw on her record.
