British UFC fighter Michael Page commented on his victory against Russian fighter Sharaputdin Magomedov, known as Shara Bullet, at UFC Fight Night 250.
Before even the end of Round 1, I knew he was never going to do anything to beat me because he was only going to want to strike.
“He’s still an exceptional striker. I would never take that away from him. He is an exceptional fighter, but the reason I called him out is because for me, with my experience, years and years of experience, I’ve seen that style before and I knew what I could do with that style, which is why he didn’t look as impressive today," Page stated during the press conference.
It’s worth noting that on February 1, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Sharaputdin Magomedov suffered his first career loss, losing to Michael Page by unanimous decision.
Page's previous fight was in June 2024 at UFC 303, where he lost to Ian Garry by unanimous decision, bringing his record to 23 wins and three losses.
