American fighter Sidney Outlaw will fight Frenchman Mansour Barnaoui in the second quarterfinal of the lightweight grand prix on May 12 at the tournament in Paris.
Outlaw had his last fight in July, 2022, at Bellator 283, losing to Tofiq Musaev by TKO in the first round. Sidney, 30, has 13 wins and five losses under his belt.
Barnaoui made his Bellator debut last October, defeating Adam Piccolotti by submission in the second round. The 30-year-old fighter has 20 wins and four losses under his belt.
Recall that the first quarterfinal bouts of the Grand Prix will be held on March 10. Bellator lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov will meet Benson Henderson, and Alexander Shabliy will share the cage with Tofiq Musaev.
The fourth matchup of the upcoming tournament is A.J. McKee and Patricky Freire. The date and venue of their fight has not yet been announced.
