American UFC fighter Sean O'Malley has spoken out about the departure of former heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou of Cameroon from the promotion.

As for Francis, I started talking about it from the beginning, ever since he started writing crap on social media - this is going to be the biggest mistake of his life.
The reason Ngannou left the UFC was because Francis was not satisfied with the terms of his new contract with the promotion. His last fight in the organization was against Ciryl Gane at UFC 270 in January, 2022. Francis won that fight by decision.
Ngannou fought in March 2021 against Stipe Miocic at UFC 260. That fight, which was stopped in the second round, ended in Francis' favor by knockout. He has 17 wins and three losses under his belt.
