American UFC fighter Brian Ortega has expressed his desire to have his next fight against Australian fighter Alexander Volkanovski.
Ortega told MMAJunkie:
Volk was a great champ and for people to kick him while he’s down right now, I find it kind’ve disrespectful for everything that he’s done. But if he decides that he doesn’t want to fight and he wants to chill, then I’m more than happy to go to Spain.
Ortega's last fight was against Yair Rodriguez on February 25 at UFC Fight Night 237 in Mexico. In that bout, Brian secured a victory with a chokehold in the third round. He has 16 wins and three losses in mixed martial arts.
