ONE Championship flyweight kickboxing champion Petchtanong Petchfergus has failed an unplanned doping test that showed two banned substances in his system.
According to ONE Championship Thailand managing director Prem Busarabavonwongs, Petchfergus tested positive for anabolic steroids methenolone and boldenone. Petchfergus was stripped of his belt and banned from competing at ONE for a year. The fighter became the first league champion to fail a doping test.
