Oliveira Receives Forrest Griffin Community Award for Charity

Former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira has been honored with the Forrest Griffin Community Award.

This award is presented annually during International Fight Week and is personally given by UFC President Dana White to fighters recognized for their charitable contributions.

Dana White
Charles is not only a great athlete, but he’s also an amazing role model who enjoys giving back to the community. Charles does a great job of helping local youth in Sao Paulo by providing them with free education and jiu-jitsu training at his institute, and he’s directly helping them create a better life for themselves in the process.

Oliveira's last fight took place in November 2024 at UFC 309, where he won against Michael Chandler by unanimous decision. He boasts a record of 35 wins and ten losses, with one fight ruled as a no contest.
