Two-division UFC champion Amanda Nunes is in talks for the defense of her bantamweight belt against fifth-ranked Irene Aldana.
The bout is scheduled for March 4 at UFC 285, Combate reported.
To recap, Nunes last fought at UFC 277 in July of 2022. That time, Amanda recovered after the loss to Julianna Peña by beating her by unanimous decision. In their first confrontation, held in December 2021, Peña choked Nunes in the second round. Amanda has a total of 22 wins and five losses.
Aldana, 34, had her last fight at UFC 279, where she defeated Macy Chiasson by TKO in the third round. Irene has 16 wins and six losses under her belt.
