This is a matchup that I asked for, and I feel like it’s a matchup that’s exciting for a lot of reasons. He’s had a lot of success in other organizations and success in the UFC, and it’s a natural step up for me. I want to keep fighting better and better guys, and this is a guy with a proven track record and many, many finishes.
Nickal’s last fight was against Paul Craig in November 2024 at UFC 309. Bo won that fight by unanimous decision. His record stands at seven wins and no losses.
De Ridder last stepped into the octagon against Kevin Holland in January 2025 at UFC 311. This bout, which was stopped in the first round, ended with Reinier winning by submission. He has a record of 19 wins and two losses.
