Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, who previously signed with the PFL, shared his future plans following his loss to WBC champion Tyson Fury.
Ngannou said:
I still have some MMA fights. I might go to PFL, get some fights and then come back to boxing. We’re going to meet some time soon. It’s been almost two years since I last competed, so I think I should be back in five to six months and at least compete twice next year.
Recall, on October 28 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) Ngannou lost to Fury by split decision.
Ngannou last fought in mixed martial arts held in January 2022 at UFC 270, defeating Ciryl Gane by unanimous decision of judges. He has 17 wins and three losses on his record.
