Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou praised the fighting skills of the current champion of the light heavyweight division, Alex Pereira.
In an interview on the YouTube channel BS w/ Jake Paul, Ngannou said:
He’s tough; he has tough hands. I think you’re [Jake Paul] going to have some difficult nights against him in the future. This guy is big, solid, and he’s mean. He walks straight to you like, ‘I’m gonna eat this guy.’
Pereira last fought in June 2024 at UFC 303, where he won against Jiri Prochazka by technical knockout in the second round. His record now stands at 11 wins and two losses.
Francis Ngannou last fought against Anthony Joshua in a boxing match in March of this year. Ngannou lost that bout by knockout in the second round. His MMA record includes 17 wins and three losses.
