New Orleans police have issued an arrest warrant for mixed martial arts star Nate Diaz for beating an unknown man in a street fight.
According to MMA Fighting, local police were interested in the incident that occurred on April 22 during a Misfits Boxing tournament in New Orleans. Recall that Diaz joined a mass brawl that was caught on camera by witnesses. The video showed Nate hitting a man, knocking him out with a choke hold and then fleeing the scene.
Diaz will next fight against blogger and boxer Jake Paul. The fight is scheduled for August 5 in Dallas, USA.
Diaz last fought under mixed martial arts rules in September 2022 at UFC 279. There, Nate choked Tony Ferguson in the fourth round. He has 24 wins and 13 losses in MMA under his belt.
