Russian MMA fighter and former Bellator light heavyweight champion Vadim Nemkov believes that Francis Ngannou has not lost his skills during the two and a half years away from the sport leading up to his fight with Renan Ferreira.

His skills haven’t disappeared. He will come out and put on a good fight, especially since Renan Ferreira is a striker. It will be a stand-up fight, and it won’t be a trouble for Ngannou to return to MMA. Ferreira is a dangerous fighter; he has some wrestling issues, but he has been working to improve in that area.
Recall that the bout between Ngannou and Ferreira for the special Super Fights belt will take place on October 19 as part of the PFL’s Battle of the Giants tournament. Ngannou has a record of 17 wins and three losses, while Ferreira holds 13 wins and three losses.
