Former Bellator light heavyweight champion, Russian fighter Vadim Nemkov, in an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net, stated that he does not harbor any ill feelings towards Ryan Bader, who opted for film shooting over fighting and missed the opportunity for a bout in the fall of 2024.
Vadim Nemkov exclusively for Telecom Asia Sport
I'm not sure, but it seems that his filming has come to an end. I’m not sure when he will be free, I don’t really follow him. I'm waiting for specific information from the organization. I have no grudge against him. This is a question for the organization. Besides him, there are fighters who have switched from Bellator to PFL, fought in the season, and lost. I wish they offered me some fight, but I have no offers. I'm frustrated with the organization. If Bader is busy with a movie, give me a fight for an interim title or a regular match.
Recall that Bader last fought against Renan Ferreira in February this year at the PFL vs. Bellator event. In that fight, which was stopped in the first round, Ryan suffered a technical knockout loss. Bader's record stands at 31 wins and eight losses, with one fight declared no contest. This summer, he participated in filming a movie about former UFC fighter Mark Kerr titled The Smashing Machine.
