Former UFC women's strawweight champion Rose Namajunas of the United States has revealed that she thought about ending her career after losing to her compatriot Carla Esparza.

Yeah, I definitely thought I was done for a good amount of time,” Namajunas said on The MMA Hour. “There were a number of things, but the way I felt going into the locker room. I just didn’t feel aggressive and I don’t really want to hurt anybody. I was just like, ‘Oh, I guess I’m done.’
Namajunas will next step into the Octagon on September 2 at UFC Fight Night 226 in Paris. The American will face France's Manon Fiorot.
Namajunas had a fight against Esparza in May of this year at UFC 274. In this confrontation, Rose was defeated by split decision of the judges. She has 11 wins and five losses on her record.
