Moldovan judoka Adil Osmanov was injured while celebrating his victory in the 73kg bronze medal bout at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
According to The Sun, Osmanov hit the tatami with force after winning the bronze medal, causing him to dislocate his shoulder. Osmanov's opponent was Italian athlete Manuel Lombardo.
Born in Moscow, Osmanov moved to Chisinau in 2017. The 24-year-old athlete won the Grand Prix in Linz in March this year. In the final of the competition, he was stronger than Azerbaijani judoka Rashid Mammadaliyev.
