A UFC flyweight bout between American Tim Elliott and Briton of Dagestani origin Muhammad Mokaev will take place on October 21 at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi.
This is reported by insider Marcel Dorff on social media.
Mokaev, 22, last fought against Jafel Filho in March of this year at UFC 286. In that confrontation, Muhammad won by submission in the third round. He has 10 wins and no losses under his belt.
Elliott, 36, defeated Victor Altamirano by unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN 46 on the night of June 4. He has 19 wins and 12 losses.
