MMA Veteran Clay Guida Fired from UFC

Veteran mixed martial artist and former Strikeforce champion Clay Guida has been removed from the UFC roster. This was reported by UFC Roster Watch on social media.

The 43-year-old Guida is currently on a three-fight losing streak. In his last fight, which took place in December 2024 at UFC 310, he lost to Chase Hooper via submission in the first round.

Guida debuted under the UFC banner in October 2006 and has fought 37 times in the organization, securing victories over prominent fighters such as Nate Diaz, Rafael dos Anjos, Anthony Pettis, Joe Lauzon, Michael Johnson, and BJ Penn.

In total, Guida has a record of 38 wins and 25 losses in mixed martial arts.
