Famous Russian MMA coach and manager Magomed Magomedov evaluated Bellator champion Usman Nurmagomedov's triumph over Alexandr Shabliy in an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net.
Magomed Magomedov
Usman did his job to secure the victory; at his young age, he needed to win by any means necessary. He did everything he needed to do, while Shabliy did not showcase his skills. Clearly, he was under some pressure. Khabib's presence in Usman's corner places enormous pressure on opponents in big bouts.
It is worth noting that the fight between Nurmagomedov and Shabliy ended with Usman winning by unanimous decision. The scorecards read 50-45, 49-46, and 49-46. With 18 wins and zero losses, Nurmagomedov remains undefeated, with one fight declared as no contest. Shabliy's record stands at 24 wins and four losses.
