Former UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic is uncertain about retiring after his upcoming fight against current titleholder Jon Jones, scheduled for the night of November 17 at UFC 309.
Miocic said in an interview with Jake Paul:
I don't know, man, after every fight I think about retiring. So we'll see. Right now I'm just going to worry about the fight. I'm not going to worry about retirement until after the fight.
Jones last fought against Ciryl Gane in March 2023 at UFC 285. He won that fight by submission in the first round, claiming the UFC heavyweight championship title. He boasts a record of 27 wins and one loss.
Miocic's last octagon appearance was against Francis Ngannou in March 2021 at UFC 260, where he suffered a knockout defeat in the second round. His record stands at 20 wins and four losses.
