Former UFC double champion Irish fighter Conor McGregor accused Khabib Nurmagomedov of criminal activity after a number of media outlets reported that one of the terrorists killed in Dagestan was a member of Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov's gym.
McGregor wrote on his X account:
In the terrorists gym when a tester showed up they would hold him hostage and give a random clean persons urine vs the fighters they were looking to test. All will come out now. When this comes down on top of them watch what surfaces. There is a video of khabib walking into a premise full of people and smashing it up entirely with a bat , threatening all those inside. In another message McGregor said that he regretted giving Nurmagomedov an advantage by going into their fight with a broken foot.
McGregor last fought in July 2021 at UFC 264, losing to Dustin Poirier by technical knockout in the first round. He has 22 wins and six losses on his record.
Nurmagomedov's last fight took place in October 2020 as part of the UFC 254 tournament. Then the fighter was confronted by American athlete Justin Gaethje. In this fight Khabib won by technical submission in the second round. He has 29 wins without a single defeat in mixed martial arts.
