Audie Attar, the manager of former double UFC champion Conor McGregor, has spoken about the date when his charge plans to return to professional fighting.
Audie Attar, quoted by MMA Junkie
One of the things everybody forgets is that Conor was one of the most tested athletes when he was competing. We’re in active discussions with the UFC, we’ve spoken to USADA, and we’re going to do things the right way. But certainly, he’s looking for a comeback in 2024.
Recall, McGregor did not meet the deadline to enter the USADA pool, which will prevent him from fighting in 2023.
McGregor, 34, has not stepped into the octagon since July 2021, when he lost to Dustin Poirier by technical knockout in the first round at UFC 264. He has 22 wins and six losses under his belt.
