John Kavanagh, the head coach of former UFC double champion Conor McGregor, said when the Irishman will return to the octagon.
Kavanagh said:
Just today, I sent him a message, and he sent me a message back on the mats rolling with a black belt where he is now. He’s training away and very hungry. I’m looking forward to the return next year, whenever that date is. I don’t know where or when it is, but I am looking forward to that inevitable return.
McGregor, 35, last fought against Dustin Poirier in July 2021 at UFC 264. In this confrontation Conor suffered a defeat by technical knockout after breaking his leg. He has 22 wins and six losses on his record.
