The lawyer of the former UFC champion in two weight categories Conor McGregor has commented on the accusations against his client. Previously, McGregor was accused of raping a girl at a game between the Miami Heat and the Denver Nuggets in the NBA Finals.
Earlier, a video appeared showing McGregor taking a girl to a restroom at the NBA finals, where the alleged victim said the rape occurred.
McGregor's lawyer commented on the case. The text of the statement was posted on social media by journalist Aaron Bronsteter.
This is nothing but extortion. Mr. McGregor welcomes an investigation that he firmly believes will show that the allegations against him are false.
McGregor had his last fight against American Dustin Poirier in July 2021 in the main event of UFC 264. In this confrontation, Conor was defeated by TKO after a leg break. He has 22 wins and six losses in mixed martial arts under his belt.
Now McGregor acts as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter 31 (TUF 31). Conor's team faces the team of American UFC fighter Michael Chandler. The fight between McGregor and Chandler is scheduled to take place after the filming of TUF 31 is over.
