Former UFC double champion Conor McGregor, previously accused of inciting racial hatred, reacted to the offer to run for the post of President of Ireland.
Recall, after an Algerian migrant attacked a teacher and three children in the center of Dublin with a knife, McGregor wrote several anti-immigration posts and called on the government to ensure the safety of the Irish, otherwise he will take it upon himself.
There were several offers to run for president of Ireland among the angry comments on McGregor's X account, and Conor reposted one of them.
Some comments read "They need Braveheart now", "It's time for Ireland to change Lord McGregor, my eternal support is with you!", "Maybe we do need someone like him in power", "He's not obsessed with money so he won't do it for profit anyway".
McGregor, 35, last stepped into the octagon against Dustin Poirier in July 2021 at UFC 264. In that confrontation Conor suffered a technical knockout defeat after breaking his leg. He has 22 wins and six losses on his record.
