Former UFC double champion Conor McGregor has spoken out regarding a possible fight between Brazilian Alex Pereira and American Jon Jones.
The Independent quotes Conor as saying:
I think he poses a lot of problems for Jon, also. That's a dangerous style for Jon. But it's a decent one for him because he's not so big. Jon is new to the heavyweight division. I'd be very excited to see that bout take place for sure.
On October 6 at UFC 307, Pereira defeated Khalil Rountree by technical knockout in the fourth round. He has 12 wins and two losses on his record.
Jones last fought in March 2023 at UFC 285, defeating Ciryl Gane by first-round choke. He has 27 wins and one loss on his record.
