Former UFC double champion Irish fighter Conor McGregor commented on the news about former lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov owing 306 million rubles to the Russian Federal Tax Service (FTS).
McGregor said on Duelbits:
That's typical rat behavior. Scurrying rat so he has bills to [pay]. Fight for legacy? Two main events or something he has in the UFC and he owes his bollocks to the Russian government. So, he's going to pay his f**king money that he owes instead of siphoning it out through to other countries.
Nurmagomedov last fought against American Justin Gaethje in October 2020 at UFC 254. Khabib won that fight in the second round by technical submission.
After this fight, Nurmagomedov announced his decision to end his professional career. He's got 29 victories without a single defeat on his MMA record.
