Former UFC double champion Conor McGregor has addressed featherweight champion Ilia Topuria.
McGregor said at the BKFC press conference:
I'd slap him around, he's too small, you know, I'm a big lad compared to Ilia but he's not bad, he's a current UFC world champion. Slap the head off [Ilia] no problem. No problemo. I'll slap him back to Georgia.
McGregor, 35, last stepped into the octagon in July 2021 at UFC 264, losing to Dustin Poirier by technical knockout in the first round. He has 22 wins and six losses on his record.
Topuria, 27, hasn't stepped into the octagon since February 2024, when he knocked out Alexander Volkanovski in the second round at UFC 298. He has 15 wins and no losses on his record.
