Former UFC double champion Irish fighter Conor McGregor said he is ready to have a third fight against American Nate Diaz.
Empire Sports Media quoted McGregor as saying:
I’d like to see him back in MMA. You know I owe him a fight, I owe Nate a fight. So I’ve got to obligate that. He gave me the rematch, I got the better of him, and I owe him the trilogy for sure.
The first fight between Diaz and McGregor, which took place in March 2016 at UFC 196, ended in Nate's favor with a second-round submission. But as early as in the rematch, held in August of the same year at UFC 202, Conor managed to bounce back, winning by majority decision of the judges.
McGregor has 22 wins and six losses in mixed martial arts. Diaz has 21 wins and 13 losses.
