Former UFC champion Conor McGregor has urged retired boxing champion Floyd Mayweather to face him in a rematch within the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC).
McGregor declared, as reported by Sports Illustrated:
Floyd you little [expletive]. [You're] trying to get a boxing match at 155. Fight me my weight! I'm the A-side. [Inellegible] Bareknuckle! McGregor-Mayweather, 170 lbs, let's go baby! Take off the gloves and fight b****!
For context, McGregor and Mayweather previously faced off in a boxing match in August 2017, which ended in a technical knockout victory for Mayweather in the tenth round.
McGregor last fought against Dustin Poirier in July 2021 at UFC 264, where he lost due to a technical knockout after suffering a leg fracture. His professional record includes 22 wins and six losses.
