Former UFC two-weight champion Conor McGregor commented on former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou's decision to leave the promotion.

He went to the UFC Performance Institute, he used all their equipment, and he didn't pay for any of it. You know? Honestly, I think he made a mistake. He hasn't fought a minute since. He should have had the fight and then thought it through.
Ngannou, 36, had his last fight last January at UFC 270, defeating Ciryl Gane by unanimous decision. In March 2021, at UFC 260, Francis faced Stipe Miocic. Ngannou won by TKO in the second round. He has 17 wins and three losses under his belt.
