Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor and former Bellator welterweight champion Ben Askren had an argument on social media.
The argument began with Askren commenting on McGregor, who previously said he had the it all to defeat Islam Makhachev. Ben noted that Conor is not even in the USADA pool, so he thought his attacks on the Russian were a bluff.
McGregor responded with an insult, and called Askren to his gym to "see where this was going."
"Bro, you're not even in the USADA pool. You don't want to fight anyone. I've retired three times and since 2017 I still have four times as many wins as you. You're just afraid to admit it. You're done," Askren concluded.
As a reminder, McGregor hasn't competed since July 2021 because of a broken leg he suffered in a fight against Dustin Porter. Conor has 22 wins and six losses under his belt.
