Former UFC fighter and former IBF champion Jorge Masvidal has announced that he may return to the promotion and compete at the upcoming December tournament.

To recap, in July 2024, Masvidal faced Nate Diaz in a boxing match that went the entire distance, resulting in a majority decision loss for Masvidal.
Masvidal had his last MMA match in April 2023, where he was defeated by Gilbert Burns via unanimous decision at UFC 287. His professional record stands at 35 wins and 17 losses.
