In an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net, Hajimurad Karaev, the manager of ACA middleweight champion Magomedrasul Gasanov, expressed his concerns about signing his client with the UFC.

What makes me anxious is that there are no 100% guarantees that Gasanov will get signed by the UFC. Moreover, the UFC middleweight fighters are not very well-known in Russia. Currently, there is no shortage of fighters from the Caucasus in the American league, especially in the middleweight division. This is more of an image issue. The UFC is like the Olympics in this respect. The athletes are more keen on earning a UFC title than on making money. I believe that fighters in the UFC up to the top 5 are at the same level as those in ACA.
Magomedrasul Gasanov has a professional MMA record of 21 wins and 2 losses. Following his victory over Shamil Abdulaev, UFC Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov mentioned that Gasanov is ready for the UFC.
