ONE light heavyweight champion Anatoliy Malykhin of Russia commented on the future of former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou of Cameroon.

I don't know what he's waiting for. Look what's happening: he messed up with the UFC, he started going overboard with ONE. Boxing? Who wants Ngannou there that much? Besines, the heads of the promotions can all unite and arrange to teach the other fighters a lesson by his example. Don't be so insolent! They'll just leave him out of the ring and forget about him in a month.
At the beginning of the year, Ngannou left the UFC as a free agent. His last fight in this promotion was against Ciryl Gane in January 2022 at UFC 270. Francis won that fight by unanimous decision.
Ngannou entered the Octagon in March 2021 against Stipe Miocic at UFC 260. That fight, which was stopped in the second round, ended in Francis' favor by knockout. He has 17 wins and three losses in mixed martial arts under his belt.
