The Nevada State Athletic Commission has blocked Diego Lopes's fee for his fight against Sodiq Yusuff at UFC 300 because of the Brazilian's jump over the cage after the victory. This was reported on social media by MMA Junkie journalist Nolan King.
It is worth noting that the Nevada State Athletic Commission also blocked the fee of number one lightweight UFC fighter Arman Tsarukyan for the fight with a fan. During Tsarukyan's entrance to the fight against Charles Oliveira at UFC 300 in Las Vegas, one of the fans showed Arman the middle finger, and the fighter punched him.
Lopes and Yusuff met in the octagon on April 14 in the preliminary card of the UFC 300 tournament. Diego Lopes won that fight by KO in the first round. He has 24 wins and six losses in mixed martial arts.
