Brazilian UFC fighter Diego Lopes commented on the announcement of his title fight in the featherweight division against Australian Alexander Volkanovski, scheduled for April 13 at UFC 314 in Miami.

Volkanovski last fought Ilia Topuria in February 2024 at UFC 298. Alexander lost that fight by knockout in the second round, losing the UFC championship belt. His current record stands at 26 wins and 4 losses.
Lopes last stepped into the octagon against Brian Ortega in September 2024 at UFC 306. This fight went the distance and ended in Diego’s favor by unanimous decision. He has a record of 26 wins and 6 losses.
