The Irish court rejected the claim of Artem Lobov against the former UFC champion in two divisions Conor McGregor. It was reported by The Irish Times.
It should be recalled that Lobov demanded McGregor to remove the allegedly defamatory messages that Conor posted on his social media accounts.
The issue of legal fees will be heard in January 2023. This was Lobov's second lawsuit against McGregor. Artem's first lawsuit against Conor concerned the Proper No. Twelve whiskey brand. Lobov claimed that he was the creator of the brand concept, so he was entitled to a percentage of the sales of the brand, which had previously been sold for $600 million.
Lobov last stepped into the octagon against American Michael Johnson in October 2018 at UFC Fight Night 138. In that encounter, Artem was defeated by a unanimous decision of the judges. He has 13 wins, 15 losses and one draw on his record.
McGregor had his last fight against American Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July, 2021, which resulted in a TKO loss for Conor in the first round. He has 22 wins and six losses on his record.
