Former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler has withdrawn from his fight against Santiago Ponzinibbio, as reported by famous journalist Brett Okamoto.

Robbie Lawler has withdrawn from the fight against Ponzinibbio. The reason is an unknown injury. This is reported by ESPN and several other sources. The UFC is currently working to find a replacement for Robbie.
Lawler last appeared in the octagon against his compatriot Brian Barberena this past July at UFC 276. Robbie lost that fight by TKO in the second round. Lawler has 29 wins and 16 losses under his belt.
Ponzinibbio went to the octagon against Brazilian Michel Pereira at UFC Fight Night 206 in May of this year. Santiago lost that fight by split decision. He has 28 wins and six losses on his record.
