A card signed by former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov of Russia was sold at an auction on the popular marketplace eBay for $8,500.
A similar card, but with heavyweight champion Jon Jones, had been sold for only $1,325 at the same auction - six times cheaper than the one with Khabib.
Khabib, 34, fought the last fight of his career against American Justin Gaethje in the UFC 254 main event in October 2020. In that confrontation, the Russian fighter won by submission in the second round. He had 29 wins without losses on his record.
Jones, 35, last appeared in the Octagon in March of this year in the main event of UFC 285, where he fought Frenchman Ciryl Gane. Their bout ended in Jon's favor by a chokehold in the first round. He has 27 wins and one loss under his belt.
