The UFC has released the judging scorecards for the title fight between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira, which ended with Pereira winning by a fifth-round TKO.
According to the judges' charts, Adesanya dominated Pereira until the fifth round. That victory earned Alex the UFC middleweight championship belt.
In July of this year, Adesanya stepped into the octagon against U.S. representative Jared Cannonier at UFC 276. The fight lasted the full five rounds and the judges unanimously gave the win to Israel.
Pereira had a fight against American Sean Strickland at the same UFC 276 tournament. Alex won that fight early, knocking out his opponent in the first round.
