Jones Claims Supremacy Over UFC Champions, Ankalaev Hits Back

UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones has pointed out his superiority over current champions in other divisions of the UFC.

Magomed Ankalaev is the reigning champion in the light heavyweight division. Dricus du Plessis holds the middleweight title, while Belal Muhammad is the champion in the welterweight class. Islam Makhachev is the lightweight champion, Merab Dvalishvili holds the bantamweight title, and Alexandre Pantoja is the flyweight champion. The featherweight title is currently vacant.

Jones made a post on social media, attaching a photo of himself with the other champions, including Ankalaev:

More title defences than every other current male champion combined.

“Yes, but all these champions are clean he's [Jones] a big cheater we all know this,” replied Magomed.

Jones last fought against Stipe Miocic in November 2024 at UFC 309, winning by technical knockout in the third round. His MMA record now stands at 28 wins and one loss, with one fight rules as no contest.
