Recall that on March 5, at UFC 285, Jon Jones defeated Ciryl Gane by first-round choke to become the heavyweight champion of the promotion. The 35-year-old Jones has 27 wins and one loss under his belt.
Miocic fought at UFC 260 in March 2021 against Francis Ngannou. That fight, which was stopped in the second round, ended with Stipe's defeat by knockout.
