UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones shared his future fight plans involving clashes with Francis Ngannou, Stipe Miocic, and Tom Aspinall.
In an interview at the PFL vs Bellator tournament Jones said:
I feel like there’s a lot of fights the world wants right now. There’s the Tom Aspinall fight that’s really massive. Francis Ngannou and I would be really massive. And Stipe [Miocic], to the hardcore fans, is still a respectable opponent. I don’t know how the cards are going to fall. My prediction is that I will beat Stipe Miocic. My prediction is I will beat Tom Aspinall and Francis Ngannou. The way that it unfolds is really not my business. My job is to do what I’ve always done since day one.
Jones last fought against Ciryl Gane in March 2023 at UFC 285, where he secured a victory via a chokehold in the first round, claiming the heavyweight division championship. Jones has 27 wins and 1 loss on his record.
Aspinall's most recent octagon appearance was against Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295, where he clinched a first-round knockout victory, earning the interim UFC heavyweight champion title. He has 14 wins and three losses on his record.
Ngannou's last bout was against Tyson Fury in October 2023 under boxing rules, marking his ring debut. The fight went the distance and ended in a split decision defeat for Ngannou. Ngannou has 17 wins and three losses on his record.
