Joe Rogan Says He Wants to Lead the UFC and Change Fight Format

Famous UFC commentator and podcast host Joe Rogan has shared that he would like to lead the top league in the world to implement his ambitious ideas.

Joe Rogan
There’s many times I wish I was running the UFC. I would change so many different things…. I got some wacky ideas. I don’t even think they should fight in a cage. I think the cage is an unnecessary element in fighting. To push someone against something or to be able to get up from something. I don’t think it’s necessary. I think it should be in like a basketball court. Like a basketball court that’s matted up. Have a big space. Have a warning track where if you go outside the warning track too many times, you could lose points.

The last UFC event took place on April 13 in Miami, USA. The main fight featured Australian Alexander Volkanovski against Brazilian Diego Lopeы. Volkanovski won the match, which went the distance, by unanimous decision, reclaiming his UFC featherweight championship title.

In the co-main event, British fighter Paddy Pimblett faced American Michael Chandler. This fight, which was stopped in the third round, ended in favor of Paddy by technical knockout.
