PFL head Peter Murray revealed that popular American blogger and boxer Jake Paul might have his debut fight under MMA rules in the league next year.
Murray said in an interview with Bloody Elbow:
We have a partnership with Jake and we’re looking forward to supporting him in MMA. We’re going to stage that mega event next year and more to come on that too, that will happen. There’s a number of opponents who continue to line up. Conceptually this event continues to getting bigger and bigger. Jake has committed to take on a for real, legitimate fighter. So it’ll be a spectacle.
Paul's next fight is set against former undisputed heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson on November 16 in Arlington, USA.
Paul's most recent bout was against Mike Perry in July of this year. In this fight, which was stopped in the sixth round, Jake won by technical knockout. His boxing record stands at 10 wins (seven by knockout) and one loss.
