The judges' scorecards for the main event bout of UFC on ESPN 57 between middleweights Nassourdine Imavov and Jared Cannonier have appeared online.
Judges Sal D'Amato and Derek Cleary, American Cannonier led on points before losing by technical knockout in the fourth round by a score of 29-28. A third judge, Junichiro Kamijo, deemed Imavov had more points (29-28) before his victory.
Imavov, 28, had his previous bout at UFC Fight Night 235 in February 2024, defeating Roman Dolidze by majority decision. He has 14 wins and four losses on his record.
Cannonier, 40, previously fought Sean Strickland at UFC Fight Night 216 on the night of 18 December in Las Vegas. In this confrontation, Jared won by split decision. He has 16 wins and seven defeats on his record.
