To recall, on April 27, in Kansas City, Zhang defeated Smith by technical knockout in the first round.
Smith previously entered the octagon in December 2024 at UFC 310, losing to Dominick Reyes by technical knockout in the second round. He has a record of 38 wins and 22 losses.
Mingyang's last fight was in November 2024 at UFC Fight Night 248, where he won against Ozzy Diaz by technical knockout in the first round. He now holds a record of 19 wins and six losses.
