Recall that on January 25 in Dubai, Hughes will face Bellator champion Usman Nurmagomedov at the Road To Dubai: Champions Series event.
Hughes last stepped into the cage in October 2024 at the PFL Super Fights event, defeating AJ McKee by split decision. He holds a record of 13 wins and one loss.
Nurmagomedov last fought in September 2024 at the Bellator Champions Series San Diego, beating Alexandr Shabliy by unanimous decision. He has a record of 18 wins and no losses, with one fight being declared a no-contest.
